Frequently Asked Questions

Opie Games

Like pretty much everyone in the table top game industry, I do this in my spare time. On company time I am the head of a software development organization in the media and entertainment industry.

No. At least for now and the foreseeable future.

Opie Games is a place to share and discuss game designs primarily by John Parker. At this time, John (that's me) is not interested in starting a game publishing company. I would like to focus on game designing in my valuable spare time. It is not that I don't have the skills to run a company. I've done that and I run a fairly large organization every day. Opie Games is an outlet for more creative pursuits for now.

However, I have learned to never rule out possibilities - that only limits your opportunities.
