Glossary of uncommon Game Design Terms. Why not common terms? Well, you can find those in other places easily enough. These are generally terms that I may use that I coined (at least to my knowledge) and therefore are likely unknown to you.

Gamelet

A mini game that exercises one key mechanic or explores one key element or component.

As an applet is to an application a gamelet is to a game.

Primarily used in game design to introduce new mechanics or in playtesting to test a particular aspect of a game.
