Fantasy Grounds Modules Updates

Fantasy Grounds Modules Updates

Back in July 2020, we started a project to update all the “old” Fantasy Grounds modules that we had created prior to the Fantasy Grounds Unity release with full Line of Sight (LOS) support. We updated several of the products over the summer, but stalled as current releases took priority.

These are upgrades to existing products that previous purchasers get for free.

We set aside time in February to complete this work and have finally completed the project, updating the products with varying degrees of the following in order of effort:

  • Line of Sight functionality
  • Custom reference manual
  • Update to current standards/norms
  • Fix errors and omissions

So why did it take so long? The total effort was:

  • 22 products
  • 145 hours of work

We hope our customers gain some extra value from the updated modules.

Monster Perks!

Monster Perks!

Monster-Expanding templates bring new powers to your D&D monsters!

Simple, clear rules apply templates to any creature, from the lowly goblin to the mighty balor.
Each template has two versions, a foot soldier and a boss. Bosses have powers that synergize with their foot soldiers, making each encounter surprising and dynamic for your players.

The templates are:

  • Astral Invader: teleporting beasts from the Astral Plane
  • Bestial Ravager: powerful hunters that hide and rage
  • Burrower: masters of the ambush
  • Jumper: strong-legged beasts that jump and kick
  • Prehensile-tailed: stinging tails and poisonous quills
  • Preternatural Illusionist: shadowcasting masters of magic
  • Putrescent: vile gelatinous engulfers
  • Spined: ranged quill attacks with powerful scent
  • Undead Thrall: biting beasts that frighten and charm
  • Void Harbinger: exploding creatures from between the stars

These templates are a game-changer, bringing your encounters to a whole new level. Simply a must for DMs seeking new combat options.

Legend of the 3 Cosmic Fists

Legend of the 3 Cosmic Fists

Legend of the 3 Cosmic Fists (Lot3CF) is a light hearted, sci-fi, martial arts, family friendly-ish, possibly educational, tabletop role playing game for players ages 8 and up. Lot3CF is played with a game master (GM) plus 1-3 players. The required dice to play are D6, D8, D10 and D12.

In Lot3CF, players take on the role of astronauts who have been abducted by aliens and made to compete in a marital arts tournament aboard a gigantic spacecraft called the Atomodon. Players can have their fighters train in six different Asian martial arts including Judo, Kalaripayattu, Muay Thai, Shaolin Wushu, Taekwondo and Vovinam. They will face off against teams from across the galaxy in a tournament to decide who earns a title shot against the reigning Intergalactic Martial Arts Champions (IMAC), the Atomo Brothers.

There’s plenty to do on the Atomodon besides fighting as well. During their off time, players can explore the city within the vast alien space ship. They can interact with their fans, work side jobs, get in trouble with the mafia and much much more. Players can choose to train hard, goof around, become a role model or even indulge in villainy. The choice is in their hands, as well as the natural benefits and consequences their actions bring.

Lot3CF uses simple, quick to learn mechanics designed for older elementary to middle school aged kids. Adults are absolutely welcome to play too! The game can be a lot of fun for anyone who enjoys martial arts and simple TTRPG systems.

Duskwalker | A Barovia Adventure for Curse of Strahd

Duskwalker | A Barovia Adventure for Curse of Strahd

A picture book adventure for the misty lands of Barovia and the Svalich Woods.

Duskwalker is a short adventure I created to tie up loose ends in Curse of Strahd. The characters visit the wereravens’ secret hideout and finally destroy the druids—unless they become the enemy and die by their friends’ swords.

This is a dark tale about loss, corruption, misguided ambitions, and hubris. In other words, a tale about the characters. There is no hope, but they may try their best — Erzdruid
